A warm welcome from Brian and Kate
Fishermans Hall is to be found nestling snugly in the tiny hamlet of Felixstowe ferry, neatly sandwiched between Felixstowe Golf Course to the rear, and the River Deben estuary and open sea to the front. (For details of how to find us see Where Are We?)
It is an ideal base or stopping off point for exploring in and around the exquisite Suffolk Heritage Coast. (See About the Area)
The area is especially popular with those who take pleasure in active outdoor pursuits. All are very welcome. Facilities are available for equipment storage for specialist sports such as cycling or canoeing, and a drying room for wet gear. (See Facilities)
We offer a warm, friendly, informal atmosphere with an emphasis on relaxation, fun and enjoyment of this lovely area. Up to six guests are catered at any one time in three superb double rooms, two of which may be offered as twins if preferred. Each room has coffee and tea making facilities and hair dryers; two have en-suite facilities and one has access to a private bathroom. Guest rooms are located on the first floor with all enjoying outstanding views (For Room Details see Facilities)
The nightly tariff is inclusive of breakfast which is served in the guest Dining Room. (For details see Tariff and Booking) The breakfast menu offers a delicious choice of fresh locally sourced produce all cooked to order. (For details of breakfast menu see Facilities)
Fishermans Hall is situated very close to two excellent pubs both steeped in historic atmosphere and charm. The popular Ferry Boat Inn ( http://www.ferryboatinn.com) and Victoria pubs both provide a rich choice of lunch and evening meals. Day time meals and snacks may also be enjoyed at the very popular and traditional Ferry Boat Cafe situated close to the river boatyard and jetty. (See About the Area)
